Belum Lake Forest Resort is located at 38 km East - West Highway. Tasik Temenggor, Hulu Perak. It is about 440 km from Kuala Lumpur via the North - South Highway, exiting at the Kuala Kangsar Toll and then through the federal route to Gerik and hence joining the East - West Highway going eastwards to Jeli in Kelantan.

Phase One of Belum Lake Forest Resort will consist of the mainland jetty (already constructed) and the Administrative cum Visitors Centre at the mainland. Ample parking facilities will be available for both guests and day visitors. A floating restaurant and conference room will be joined to the floating chalets right till the others side on the island where hillside chalets will blend in harmony with the forest vegetation.

The floating jetty will adjust it's height in accordance with the water level at Tasik Temenggor.

The design of the Administrative and Reception Centre is based on the Perak traditional Malay house called 'The Kutai'. This is one way to preserve the rich heritage of Perak Malay architecture as well as to educate both the local and foreign visitors on the uniqueness of the traditional Perak Malay house.

This 2-Storey administrative / visitor centre will have a reception centre for guests to the Belum Lake Forest Resort as well as an information desk for visitors.

Chalets will be either floating on Tasik Temenggor or on Belum Island, both commanding fantastic views of the lake.
